Hi there!

Welcome to the Thoughtful Nutrition Store!

Here's a little bit about me and Thoughtful Nutrition:

•I'm Rachel, a Registered Dietitian (RD).

•I'm passionate about Intuitive Eating (IE), Health at Every Size (HAES), body acceptance, and dismantling diet culture.

•I first got into the IE, HAES, anti-diet, body positive arena after I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis in undergrad. That diagnosis sent me spiraling into disordered eating, body image issues, and orthorexic behaviors. It sent me searching for what health REALLY is.

•I started Thoughtful Nutrition in hopes that I could help others recover from the same issues I faced as well as spread awareness regarding these issues.

•I've been happily married for 6+ years now.

•I have 2 golden retrievers that I love with all my heart.

•I live in Asheville, NC. It's a funky mountain town that I absolutely love.

•I'm an avid hiker. Hiking is my favorite form of joyful movement. I thrive the most when I'm outdoors.

•I love plants and own a plant themed small business called Golden Felicity Co.
